LuxNeuro is a neurofeedback, qEEG brain mapping, and counseling practice located in Denver, Colorado, founded and led by Laura Mahony, LPC, BCN, QEEG-D. Laura holds a Diplomate in qEEG brain mapping from the IQCB and Board Certification in Neurofeedback through BCIA, and she has been mentored by Jay Gunkelman, QEEG Diplomate and Chief Science Officer of Brain Science International, as well as other respected clinicians in the field.
At LuxNeuro, comprehensive qEEG assessment is conducted using both NeuroGuide and WIN EEG, with raw data review and cross-database analysis. Reliability is measured at or above 0.90 for both split-half and test-retest prior to interpretation. Reports are produced to QEEG-D standards and are available to referring clinicians and prescribers as adjunctive clinical documentation.
The practice works with a wide range of presentations including ADHD and neurodivergence, anxiety and depression, complex trauma, sleep disorders, burnout, medication sensitivity, and highly sensitive nervous systems. LuxNeuro emphasizes understanding the neurophysiology beneath the diagnosis before deciding on an approach, and works collaboratively with referring providers where appropriate.
